Hexie Quilt started in a class with my Granddaughter, Erin. She takes me to Blackfoot Idaho to their quilt fest as a Christmas gift each year. Such a wonderful gift!! I re-designed the quilt a bit, adding the outside borders and small flowers and designing my own stems for the flowers as well. I hadn't done a full hexie quilt before, so it was a fun challenge. Erin made one as well. She made hers with only one flower in a smaller size and gave it to her sister, Emily, as a baby shower gift.
