A good friend had heart surgery a few months ago (2008). She had pieced this quilt before having surgery, but it still needed to be quilted. SO.......I undertook that task as a get well gift for her. It was kind of scary as it was the first "real quilt" that I had done after my hubby computerized my Nolting 24" machine. I really only quilt for fun, not as a business, so it was a bit traumatic. It turned out fine though, and she was a really happy camper when she got it back. Another friend did the binding for her, so she just had to admire it. It really is pretty!!
