Happy Halloween
The appliqued witch was a great project with lots of colors. I love colors!! The blanket stitching around the applique on this quilt was all done by machine.

Bumble Bees
Another in the series. I used seminole patchwork in the border again, and did some echo quilting around the beehive. Once again, the applique work is done by hand. I have done hand applique on each one of the small wallhangings in this set.

Firework Lights
The July version of the small wallhanging. I have used a small pieced border in between the outside borders on this one. .The applique on this was all done by hand. I like the handwork, but due to time constraints, most of my applique work is done by machine.

School Time
This is the September block for back to school. I have added apple fabrics between the two sections of the block that was not included in the pattern. There is also a row of apples at the bottom before the outside border. I thought these helped to set if off nicely. This was another in the "Art to Heart" year of small wallhangings that I did.

The spring wallhanging from this series. The blocks in this book could be made into individual wallhangings or into a quilt. I have used heart buttons for flowers. The applique has all be done by hand. This was the "Art to Heart" series that I made into 12 small wallhangings for the year.

Summer Lemonade
One of a series of small wallhangings. I used a seminole patchwork border on this one . This is also from the "Art to Heart" series. I loved creating all of the little borders on these wallhangings. I love to work with miniatures and have tried to use many different techniques as I was finishing them off.

Christmas Buck-A-Block
This wall quilt was done as a "Buck-A-Block" using Thangles from a local quilt store. The blocks for this quilt are 6". I really enjoy piecing the tiny blocks.

Five of a Kind
This quilt was made from our 9" Card Trick Templates. I call this quilt "Five of a Kind". This pattern with templates will be for sale on our web page in our store. Also, take note of the hangers. These are our own unique push in wall hangers. Check our store for these hangers in three different colors.

Chicken Sampler
This is a quilt to match the angle of the handrail on my stairway. I have my entire stairway wall covered with small wall quilts. These blocks were samples from a quilt class that I taught. I put them together to fit one of my spots on my quilt wall.

Lattice Work Quilt
A fun little wallhanging which can be made of small pieces from the stash!! The more colors the better!! This was quick and easy to make.

Fall Scarecrow
This quilt started out with a kit for the scarecrow alone. However, wanting it to be a specific size, I did a bit of re-designing and adding items to make it the size I wanted it to be. Now it is the perfect size to fit the largest spot on my stairway wall.

Sunflower Attic Window
This quilt was made from our Attic Window Templates. The blocks are separated by a tiny sashing. I did some straight line quilting in the boxes and beadboard quilting in the border.

Frosty Friends
Frosty Friends ---- This is a fun simple winter wallhanging, just trying to keep up with the season ! I made two of these, one for myself and one for a friend for an Xmas Gift. They were completed in 2004 and are 22" x 27".

Gotta Quilt
Gotta Quilt ---- A good friend gave me this pattern because she knew I loved chickens, and the shopping thing! It was a really fun project and it gets a lot of fun comments. I digitized the words and stitched them out on my embroidery machine. This quilt is 24" square.

This is a fun little quilt I have made in three different colorways. The center of this is quilted on the Nolting Commerical using Quilt EZ Templates. Pretty simple, but lots of fun.

Halloween makes me batty!
This was a cute little wallhanging for Halloween. I love holiday items throughout the house. This one I did beadboard quilting in the outside border by my regular domestic sewing machine.

Halloween Pinwheel
This is a fun pattern that I had made in Christmas Colors and wanted to to do again in a different colorway. This is nice and bright for Halloween. This was quilted on my Nolting 18 Commercial Machine.

Mini Fall Scarecrow
This was a small kit for the center section. I have re-designed this to be a larger wallhanging as I have specific spots I like to fill. This has been quilted on the Nolting 18" Commercial Machine.

Moose Stew
Some friends and I got together to each make this wallhanging. I digitized the words on my Estante Embroidery Machine. The pattern showed hand embroidery, but I enjoy the machine embroidery creation too.

Patriotic Chicken
Patriotic Chicken ---- This is another angled wallhanging to fit my stairway quilt wall. I love chickens and also patriotic items, so this was a fun project for me. This project is 16 1/2 x 22 1/2 and fits the smallest area on my quilt wall. There are several patriotic buttons sewn on this for embellishment.

Patriotic Sampler ---- This quilt was made from a pre-printed panel. I cut the sections apart, and added lots of companion fabrics to make the total wallhanging. This is the largest project that hangs on the stairway wall.

Rippling Flag
Rippling Flag ---- A friend challenged me to make this one. It is all made of small pieces cut the shape you see. This was a little more challenging than most that I make. It was also my first large wallhanging quilted on my Grace Machine Quilting Frame.

Scarecrow Sam
This is a cute item that can be used either inside the house or on a door for the fall season. This is finished with a combination of quilting on the longarm machine and the regular Pfaff Machine. I used a raggedy stitch around his hair with a variagated thread. I made this one in 2007.

Shadow Box Snowmen
We make acrylic templates and market them on our website as well as other places. This particular quilt is made with our 8" Shadow Box Templates. I also taught this class at a local quilt shop. I have a pattern that I designed for this quilt that is also available.

Snowed In - A fun winter design which included some traditional piecing as well as paper piecing. I modified this pattern and made it just a bit larger than the original.

This is one of the most fun projects I have done. Everyone gets a great laugh out of it when they see it. It was actually one of the first wallhangings that I ever made. I need to do a new one now....I believe I could choose better colors and do better work!!

Summertime Fun
I created this little wallhanging to fit one of the spots on my stairwall wall. The bottom of this quilt is actually cut at an angle to fit the angle of the handrail going down my stairs. These were appliques chosen to just make a happy summer hanging to fit my spot.

This was a fun patriotic wall hanging to create. Techniques used were applique with stippling around the appliqued objects. Applique was done by machine.

Sled Design
A friend was making a wallhanging with the sleds on it. This was an extra sled that she had already put the wonder under on. I couldn't let that go to waste!! So, it has now become the smallest of quilts that I have hanging on my stairway wall. Please notice the angle matches the angle of my railing. Also, note that the hangers are the "Rod Hangers" that we sell in our store. This project was completed in 2007 and is 16 1/2" x 22" (longest side).

Mr. Snowman
Mr Snowman - This one is another creation to fit the angle of my stairway on my quilt wall. I just chose some applique designs that I thought would make a nice winter addition for my quilt wall. I used a fuzzy white fabric for the snowman. All the applique was done by machine. This project was completed in 2004 and is 12 1/2" x 37" (at the longest point).

Carrot Nose
I believe this one also came out of a magazine, but cannot remember the name of the magazine or the issue. It is 24" square and was completed in 2006. The scarves on the snowman are hanging loose. It was a fun project that made up pretty quickly.

This was a cute little wallhanging that I purchased kits for several friends to make as well. It is fun to have a "sewing day" with friends. This was completed in 2008 and is 16" x 28". I have once again altered the pattern to fit my space.

This fun spring wallhanging started with a kit. I have made only a few modifications to it to make it fit my space on the wall over the stairway. I completed it in 2009. It was quilted on the Nolting Pro 24 shortly after becoming computerized. The pattern was Meme's Designs.

Triple Kaleidoscope
This is mini quilt I made from our 6" Kaleidoscope Templates. I have put this into a pattern to be sold with the templates. We will have this pattern and templates available in our store. The name is "Triple Kaleidoscope Quilt" This is hung with our "mini" rod hangers, which you will also find in the store. The finished size of this quilt is 10" X 24 1/2" and was completed in 2008.

Christmas Santa
This little guy was fast and fun to make! He is 24" square and was a happy addition to the Christmas Quilts that I display around the house. He is also shown on the quilt stand that was a Christmas gift from my daughter and son-in-law.

Scrappy Rack Quilt
This was a quick and easy project that I had fun making. It was easy to just "pick up" and make a block or two from small pieces. Pretty soon, I had a whole quilt. This is displayed on a cute quilt stand my daughter gave me for Christmas in 2008. She did good shopping!! I love the stand.

Easter Bunny 2009
This is a small wallhanging finished in the year of 2009. The original pattern did not have the additional pieces on each of the two sides. It was missing the squares and flying geese I have added down both sides.....It just didn't look finished to me!! Finished size now 16 1/2" X 24 1/2". This was quilted on the Nolting 24 Pro, featuring some computerized work, some ruler work and some free motion.

Sunshine and Flowers
The finished size of this wallhanging is 13 1/2" x 29 1/2". I have cut the flower, flower pot, flowers, stems and leaves with the die cutter. The adhesive was applied before cutting the pieces to size. This is a fun little project and I will have the die cut pieces for sale. "BOO"
This is a "new for the season" wallhanging in the current issue (Sept/Oct 09) of the Fons & Porter Love of Quilting Magazine. I thought this was really cute, so cut kits for some friends to make it as well. It was a quick and easy project that was lots of fun to make.

Valentine Heart
I purchased a kit for the center of this wallhanging. The heart and flowers with stems are done in wool, using hand applique.....pretty unusual for me to do hand applique!! The hand applique was done as a "car project" while attending the Spring Quilt Market in Pittsburgh in 2009. The project was quilted on the Nolting Pro 24, using mostly rulers, in 2010.
